I recently did an interview with a local radio station where I had to talk about our upcoming presentation skills conference on June 14th that we run every year - Present to Succeed. Special discount for all of you below.

Immediately after they published the interview, I watched it. Here are the top 3 things I saw that I think I can do better the next time:

  1. Shorter answers. For one of the questions I was asked, I went into too much detail when I could've answered sharply and thus increase the overall dynamics of the interview.
  2. "Etc., etc." - said that 2 or 3 times at the end of 2 or 3 sentences. Not needed. Completely not needed...
  3. Forgot that I am constantly visible on camera - in the first 30 seconds, I could have smiled more as I was really looking forward to this one. Yet, it doesn't look this way.

Again - no matter how much experience you have in anything, you can always find ways to get better. And that's the goal. Constant improvement.
