€100М that looked impossible to achieve in the beginning

Visionaries Tomorrow is an early-stage industrial deep tech fund backed by some of the world’s most influential unicorn founders and industrial leaders. When they set out to raise money for their next fund, their existing presentation wasn’t converting—and the team wasn’t sure why. After a few months of unsuccessful attempts, they realized something had to change. That’s when they reached out to us.

Process

As with every project, we began by reviewing what our client already had—from brand identity and visual assets to the existing presentation (and this time, there was one). During our first call, their brand immediately stood out. In fact, their presentation was one of the best we’d seen from a client.

But as we dug deeper into their investor deck, the issue became clear. The problem wasn’t design—it was the storyline

Step 1

Storytelling

Their story felt slightly chaotic. It wasn’t crystal clear what they were doing, who they were helping, or why. But in conversations with the founders, it became obvious—they weren’t just another VC fund. They were different.

We saw huge potential to reframe their narrative and present Visionaries Tomorrow in a stronger way. That’s where the real work began: refining and polishing the storyline until we were certain that, once paired with powerful visuals, investors would want to jump in and be part of the fund.

Step 2

Design selection

Visionaries Tomorrow already had a strong visual identity. Still, we saw an opportunity to simplify it—especially for use in presentations and documents. We also believed their target audience would value a look and feel that came across as more mature.

We didn’t change much. Just a few adjustments—most notably, updating a texture. That one small change now enables their team to easily create hundreds of on-brand variations, ensuring slides remain consistent yet fresh and unique.

Step 3

Template

At first glance, a template might seem unexpected. After all, Visionaries Tomorrow came to us for an investor deck designed to convert. But because of the design refinements we made at the brand level—and to streamline our own work—we created a new PowerPoint template. It quickly became clear that their team would benefit from it too. So we developed it further and made it part of the final project.

Step 4

Final touches

It took eight iterations to reach the final version—each one refining details in copy, design, or both. When you aim as high as their founding team, no detail is too small. We understand that deeply, which is why brands trust us in high-stakes moments. And soon after, the results followed.

The results

The goal was to raise €100M by the end of Q3 2025. But in the last week of July, we got the call: Visionaries Tomorrow had already secured the full amount.

Weeks of project work

When we set out to raise capital for our next fund, we were confident in our presentation — yet the deals weren’t closing as we expected. That’s when we were introduced to 356labs. Their team quickly showed us that the challenge wasn’t the slide design, but the story we were telling. They guided us through rewriting our narrative and then rebuilt the deck. The results spoke for themselves: instead of reaching our €100M goal by the end of Q3, we achieved it in July. Iva and her team worked with us as if they were part of our own, and their approach was nothing short of exceptional.
